Ordered Indian meal well 4 so will freeze 2. Providing own rice / naans/ chapatis. Need to have a sort out in dining room as plants in the way. Then all set for the "Voice" not usually my sort of prog but saw one episode, saw one lady and was hooked.
Verdun, when we visit one of the sometimes hospitalised APs en masse, if the nurses object we share ourselves out around the ward for a bit, there's always someone who could do with a chat
Well, I typed a long post all about my visit to the GC and finding that Clematis Grandiflora that Verdun doesn't need, and picking OH up from work and watching the Natiional (for the first time in my life I'd not picked a horse - too busy gardening!) and all that .................. and it disappeared
Anyway I've planted the Clematis so Verdun will have to do without it. It's clambering up the back fence under the biggest ash tree, and it's making a sort of an archway over Hefty's steps up the Shady Bank ......... isn't that lovely
And I've planted lots of other plants that've been waiting in pots for 18 months for me to start on the Little Wilderness and they've all been well watered in.
Now there are Piedmont Peppers topped with goat's cheese in the oven, they'll be lovely with some air cured ham and chorizo and a glass of rosé in about an hour - for now I'll flollop on the sofa and noodle with you lot - OH has a pint of Adnams' Broadside and is sitting next to me listening to Bad Manners' Special Brew and Carry on Cabby is on the tv with the sound turned off ........
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Personally I roll on phoo phoo stuff! I use skoosh as a coverall for all things that come out of a spray . . . cleaning the kitchen, can you pass me the skoosh. . . . putting on bodyspray, can you pass me the skoosh . . . I'm sure you get the idea
Oh no nothing bad really Panda, not at all really just made me grumpy because I ended up going to footie after all, didn't want to go to start with because I wanted to be in the garden. Worst game ever and spent the whole time thinking about what I could have been doing at home!!!! Nothing really in the grand scheme of things just me being petty!!! (But still grumpy LOL)
Anyway, OH has made a lovely lasagne for tonight, I've made a big healthy salad and home made garlic bread.....topped of with lots of wine, happy days
