    Hello Bill image Yes Pa was in the RAF, but his youngest brother Richard was in the RCAF 408 Squadron - sadly lost over Hamburg 30 July 1944 image

    Hi all, don't think I've got around to saying good morning yet have I ? 

    Busy day with bits n bobs, garden wise just looking, taking photos etc. now just waiting for son to get home then haircut for both of us, undecided whether to go for casual bob or funky crop this time and she'll be here in 20 mins or so!

    I bought seed compost from Wilko as well. Also pleased with it and have full germination - at the momentimage

    Evening all.

    Another good day in the garden, at one point I actually took my fleece off and had to mop my sweaty brow.

    Edged some of the lawn. I am not a particularly tidy gardener, but it is amazing the difference a crisp lawn edge makes to the look of a garden.

    Am of to St. Andrews soon, for MILs 80th., so am going to miss valuable gardening time. There will however be much food and alcohol, maybe even too much!

    Off to cook tea now, hope everyone had a good day. Spring is here, I think.

    PS. Verdun think carefully about your job. I recently gave up my voluntary job, as it was taking up more and more of my time and was becoming very stressful. I need to start looking for something else, but hopefully it will be a little more relaxing.
