Hello everyone, I'm back and had a lovely wifi and text free weekend We absolutely loved Center Parcs and are booking again as part of our summer holiday, it is so relaxing
Anyway, belated happy birthday's to Stacey's LO, sorry it's late - I like the new name someone has given you (can't remember who said it), I think you should change your name to Chilli Monster now

Belated Happy Mother's day to al the mummys on here, human, animal and plant mummys
Hope everyone who is under the weather feels better soon and hugs for everyone who was missing their mummy (or daddy) yesterday.

Afternoon all, is it really Monday again!! I can't complain really, we had a lovely weekend and I don't work on a Monday. But after all my gardening this weekend, I decided a day off, so after a dash round with the hoover (inside the house!) I went for a coffee with a friend, so good to catch up. Then sat and read a gardening magazine to get some inspiration. (There are a few plants need pricking out, which I may be tempted to this afternoon). Then came on here to catch up with everyone's weekends, photos etc. Just waiting for my shopping to be delivered (lazy I know!) But at least I can get on with stuff while I wait.
Bit peeved that my green bin got rejected for being too heavy!!! They don't even have to lift it, the lorry does is for them. So I'm going to have to take some stuff out!! I will have to bag it up and take to the allotment for the composter!
OH said he would cut the grass on Saturday, but when I got home, he had forgotten the front garden!! Don't know what planet he's on. I'll have to finish the job he started!! Off to make a cuppa . . .
Max, I once heard refuge chaps grumbling and considering rejecting my bin, so I went out and offered to wheel it to the lorry myself, 5' 3" and size 12. Amazing it wasn't too heavy, just a "new lorry" and they wondered if it was too heavy. Easy for me I know because I was home.

Hi all, kettle on, toast on, nurse off sick ... bet she had too many chocs yesterday
I must have seemed a bit thick, but our health checks are done in a clinic with several nurses, doctor, dentist, optician, ear doc and gynaecologist so I didn't see the significance of a nurse being off sick. They used to be free every 2 years, now it's 3 yearly.
Guests gone, having a coffee then back to deal with the rampant honeysuckle and vinca.

I can't believe how much, in less than 3 days, my plants have grown!! Everything in the garden seems to be so much more alive.....must be that extra hour of sunshine last night
Evening All well my digging day came to a stop at 5pm with RAIN at least 2 hours of light left to annoying but hey that is Lancashire weather for you.At least i can spend some time browsing the forum
