Well other half has gone to work to get a project finished on time. Since this is my first day off wasn't it nice of him to wake me at 06:30. Sunrise isn't for another hour and being the shortest day I'll be out there marking the beginning of the longer nights with my candles (don't worry KEF I don't hold with the being in the altogether - its far too cold out there!) Soon be spring!
The shortest day? Tell me about it, all the lights on here in.t NE it is black as erm h@@@. Pork ready to go in the oven, stuffing made, better get to it then.
Morning All, Feeling very fuzzy headed this morning. Wouldn't mind if I had been drinking. Bin collection day today. Going to be a lot of frustrated neighbours as it looks as if only about 4 of us in the street read the leaflet pushed through the door about changes to the collection dates over Christmas.
Perhaps the reason I want to go straight back to bed is because its the shortest day. Night Night everyone.
OH out at work again today Have been watching the sparrows fighting over the bird feeder I put in the Quince. Still no interest in the peanuts or sunflowers

I had such a fun night, haven't laughed as much in ages.
I spent 5 hours walking around as as elderly chap leaning on a walking stick and when I got home and abandoned it my legs were a bit wobbly
