Gilly, fleece, had forgotten so into the shed we must go tommorrow to retrieve it...I also have an old mattress protector that kept some nice & cosy. Waste not want not, that's for Lily.
Actually did some gardening today! Removed annuals and weeds from cherry tree bed so now it's ready to be planted with tulips. But it did rain on me before I'd finished.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I rearranged the greenhouse so that I can switch the heater on without cooking the plants.I removed a dead mouse from the full watering can. I pruned the Brugmansias down so I now have a a bunch of cuttings in a jar in the kitchen windowsill. They will make roots by spring, when I will pot them up. Also I pruned the lower branches of the magnolias so that I can see the hellebores beneath. Then I was going to shred the prunings, but it rained so instead I had ginger cake and coffee.
Been a nice day here today paid my work a visit kids off school so had a nice chat with all the staff was great to see them all again. Son dropped me off and i walked back down home enjoyed the walk but was just enough for now. About 4 to 5 weeks ago i changed my hanging baskets at the front of the house from the summer plants to the winter plants and they are looking good here's a photo of them.

Coffee and cake sounds nice, fidget, think you deserve it after all your hard work
