Oh Verdun, hope your mum is ok. Hope she didn't hurt herself when she fell. Know what you mean, some nurses are wonderful, but some should choose to do another job. Very best wishes to you both. Love and hugs x
Oh Verd..I'm so sorry. That's not what you need to hear just now with your mum. As you say, good and bad wherever you go.
I've plenty of jobs here if you're at a loose end...bring a spade..
Having a lazy few hours this morning..body's protesting after all my grafting yesterday. Struggling to get the white buddliea out as it's rooted under some concrete or old piece of access road or something. May have to wait till the digger comes to do extension. It'll probably have grown five feet by then
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Verdun ((hugs)) - if a patient has a fall it will be because the hospital is at fault - that may affect how it is recorded however it must be recorded correctly as it will inform her assessment for care both in and out of hospital. Also it is quite likely that having fallen a patient will become agitated - inexperienced nurses can, in my experience, be quite frughtened if a patient with a diagnosis of dementia. That is understandable - a friend of mine who is a Community Nurse had her nose broken by a confused 'little old lady'. However in a hospital the support should be available to keep everyone safe - of course, that will have to be assessed for when staffing numbers are being budgeted for So as I said, it's important that such things are properly recorded, not just in your mum's notes but on the ward records.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Wedding was lovely Had a few moments of sun for pictures
Am having my lie in today so am still in bed Feel a bit bad as am wide awake and OH got up specifically saying it was my time for a lie in - how long should I give it before I get up?

Good morning
Sorry you have this to deal with as well Verdun.
Saw the pic of your bench Fairy and it's lovely. Hope the weather brightens up so you can sit on it again and look at your pond
Hope your bruises are going down Dove.
I have managed to nab the laptop and apologise to Liri (aka Kirk) and Beaus (aka Bears). I think I will just read on the Kindle and type on the laptop
Have as relaxing a day as possible lily and pace yourself more carefully tomorrow.
Hope George is OK bekkie.
