Have just spent half an hour trying to catch up with yesterdays posts, still none the wiser!
Lesley, today i will be mostly fighting pond plants! Its quite nice to be sharing the sibirica with some of you guys as it was given to me by a friends mom!
SGL, glad things have got goung for your sis, you will have muscles like Liri at this rate!
BM, i never iron my curtains, like Steve said i hang them as soon as they finish washing, if they are very bad, i get the steamer out, another tip is to hang a little weight on the bottom of them - can you tell i hate ironing?
Dove, your bruises sound sore, if you lived round here everyone would be giving your OH dodgy looks! , sounds like you are healing quickly tho, best wishes

White mice? Oxo tower? Drunken Pandas? drunken strangers have i slipped into another universe????

Wow bekkie - could you do a synopsis like that every morning to help me keep up with everything. I forget very quickly nowadays I have PM'd you about the iris.
Good luck with the brambles DD. I've got shredded arms today
Your're not alone Beaus - I've still got to get bulbs sorted.
hazy sunny morning here . washing out . just put a shelf up . painting latter ... then footie woking v CHESTER FC COYB.... OH in work till 4pm big day in garden tomorrow . may potter later
Just been for a wander in the garden - looks like Late Blight has arrived - I'll take the last of the crop off the plants to ripen - OH can help me tomorrow - it's ridiculous how hard it is to do stuff one-handed - we've eaten loads of toms and am roasting trays full in the oven - it's been a good year for them, even with this bit of blight
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Well I was full of good intentions re reading all the lovely posts you lot made while I was away. Just took a look at how many pages and Ive decided life is too short. If you all start talking about something that Ive no clue about I'll just have to ask for a bit of background.
Well washing has not been done, the house is still dusty, loads of holiday stuff lying around in piles. However, grandchildren visited and hugged, lawns mowed, garden tidy (a bit of weeding still to do), cuttings taken. Have visited the GC and bought a few plants to update the pots and cut back ivy. See I do get my priorities right. Catch up with all tonight.
I know just how frustrating it is not being able to do anything that needs two hands Dove. I broke my collar bone a few years ago and it was so difficult to do anything. It makes you really admire how disabled people cope.
You certainly have got your priorities right Yvie. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms because I've not been to a garden centre for weeks I'm going to put that right next week. I seem to have spent every day on my hands and knees weeding so it's time for a treat.
