Hi all - hope you're all having a good weekend image

I'm all scrubbed up for Mum's guest and about to work out how to get to Plymouth using the minimum fuel....

  • Just been for a wander in the garden - looks like Late Blight has arrived -  I'll take  the last of the crop off the plants to ripen -  OH can help me tomorrow - it's ridiculous how hard it is to do stuff one-handed - we've eaten loads of toms and am roasting trays full in the oven - it's been a good year for them, even with this bit of blight image

Well I was full of good intentions re reading all the lovely posts you lot made while I was away.  Just took a look at how many pages and Ive decided life is too short.  If you all start talking about something that Ive no clue about I'll just have to ask for a bit of background.

Well washing has not been done, the house is still dusty, loads of holiday stuff lying around in piles.  However, grandchildren visited and hugged,  lawns mowed, garden tidy (a bit of weeding still to do), cuttings taken.  Have visited the GC and bought a few plants to update the pots and cut back ivy.  See I do get my priorities right. Catch up with all tonight.

    Cycle Steveimage

I know just how frustrating it is not being able to do anything that needs two hands Dove.  I broke my collar bone a few years ago and it was so difficult to do anything.  It makes you really admire how disabled people cope.

You certainly have got your priorities right Yvieimage.  I'm getting withdrawal symptoms because I've not been to a garden centre for weeksimage  I'm going to put that right next week.  I seem to have spent every day on my hands and knees weeding so it's time for a treat.
