Morning - lovely here again. I fleeced our pieris last night - fed up of always losing the bright red new shoots to frost - will do so again tonight. Magnolia much too big for that, so just keep fingers crossed that the buds that haven't burst properly yet escape.
just realised clocks change next week - so i will get to see my garden and GH in the evenings too Hooray
One lawn, one AstroTurf here ( needs be but that's another story). One paved driveway.Lawn cut but not much removed on middle level as well. Only laid last year ( I think) but some spots grow quick and thick while other clumps are slow and short. Not sure why.
Morning all lovely morning now been out since 6.30 this morning everything that needed watering is done and all looking well. Frost last night but everything got covered and fine now off to the bowling club to help with the flower beds and bring home the 5 hanging baskets to do for them this week have a good gardening day all.
Great!! As I was typing the above and chewing I thought bacon sandwiches don't have bones in do they? My crown on back molar has come off. Huh, that's sorted tomorrow's job.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I just have grass Dove - mine aren't posh enough to be lawn
Although maybe the bit I'm putting in the back garden could be lawn....perhaps for a spot of croquet on a warm evening...
Crochet more like
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Snap Fairy - grass here too ( and lots of moss - but at least its green

Hurrumph! Still no reply box for PMs - so more than just a blip this end - I'll send Daniel an email this evening - don't want to ruin his weekend

My moss seems to be receding a bit as the grass grows chicky - the grass must be quite healthy so it's taking over -usually the other way round!
Bit like people MrsG....
