Am jealous of those that got outside, and even more so of Kef, cutting the grass, that is a dream of mine! The grass has romped all winter and is looking like I don't own a lawn mower!
Dove, have a lovely day. Big congrats to the APs on 66 years Happy birthday for Pa tomorrow
Have a good day all. No frost here, just damp grass. Sun is shining
Dove will the troubles( more than troubles ! ) affect your planned trip with DIL? Geography isn't my best subject and I can't remember which area you plan to visit.
Back on laptop but all my words have been lost ( not often lost for words!). Feeling frosty KEF after that.
So what was I droning on about?
Oh yes, I'm out of practice catching up on all these posts, you lot are so busy!
Car going in to get door hinges fixed, the wind blew the door out of mum's hand in Dec.
Dove have a lovely day, I wasn't married until I was 37 so unlikely to reach 66th anniversary!
Gardeners enjoy this pre-spring season, hope I can get out there today but still got lots of post holiday jobs to get on with.
Must must must check out the cannas though. Think they'll not have made it. Seems I could over winter them when I didn't think about it - but the last 2 winters when I've made more informed effort with them I've lost them.
Lily, piano lesson was rubbish, not practising and sowing seeds instead maybe isn't a good idea!! It also didn't help that I did a 10 mile bike ride and was a bit tired by the time by teacher called my in at 8.15 - 15 minutes late!!!
Ollie is all better now thanks, and the fur has almost all grown back too
Dove - 66 years married, wow that is amazing, wish your parents congratulations from me, you must be so proud of them Also happy birthday to your dad for tomorrow.
Chickie, hope your little one is better today.
Lizzie, I hope the rain has stopped for you today and you managed to get a shower/bath last night.
Sorry if I've missed anyone but have a good day all

Trip's on hold at the moment KEF - DIL has some work comittments that may make us alter our plans - but that's no problem - we'll do it when we can.
I fully expect this to calm down before too long. All the big players have too much to lose ....
The problem is that the west do not really understand the history of the region and the way that this is perceived by the different ethnic groups - in order to keep Russians united their government will always have to balance many more complex needs than we in the west realise.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Were you planning a trip to Russia Dove, I must admit it does all seem very complicated and although I'm quite bright (except for when it comes to gardening) I have lost what is going on!!
I will practice this week Lily, I have to, but in the end it is only a hobby and I will never be a concert pianist, things like that don't happen when you only start learning at 40 and can't even read music
