Have you ever used one of the Gtech Hedge Trimmers? Their big thing is that everything is well balanced. Gtech seems to design things to stop fatigue and aches after prolonged use. Having said that as good as they are they are no match for a petrol hedge trimmer!
Resurrecting a topic which has been dead for 4 years suggests advertising, particularly when a link to a company has been included. I made the mistake of purchasing the Gtech multitool which was fine in use as a strimmer but hopeless as a hedgetrimmer. It was so badly balanced and the triggers are in positions which make it almost impossible to use for more than a couple of minutes at a time. I actually reverted to using my old mains electric hedge trimmer which is much better for the job.
I've been a use of Gtech hedge trimmers for a number of years. I have the original style one that uses toothed belts to drive the cutters. The belts eventually shed their teeth and they need replacing every couple of seasons with parts from 3rd party suppliers. The later ones have the motor mounted nearer the cutters but they are not so well balanced. I bought one but returned it because of that issue.
I'm still looking for a wearable hedge trimmer that can cut heavier branches. I've seen professionals using ones with a battery back pack but they are expensive.
