I read somewhere, ( on the net) that you shouldnt grow wallflowers in the same place as last year because of club root, as they are members of the brasicca family, does anyone think this is true?
Mine were in the same place , the same plants for 2 years running and I just dug them out to make way for other plants.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
I've just sown a few rows in a seedbed and have a nursery bed ready to transplant them in a few weeks, then they'll go out into the garden next spring.... all being well. There was a large footprint in the middle of the seed bed when I went back yesterday . Anyone know if 'Persian Carpet' is a good variety?

That sounds like good advice, Mike.
