Oooh, hadn't considered needing to protect my lavender pots this winter (other than a bit of fleece if it looks like going below freezing). I've two in pots that were put out late August this year. Do I need to find some shelter for them then?
Assume my two camellias in pots should be ok with fleece??
I have purchased the lavenders from T & M and I have left mine in the greenhouse. They were all stood in trays of water to keep them watered while I was away on holiday for nearly two weeks and they are growing really well. They are very strong looking plants and very bushy. I will be leaving them in the greenhouse over winter and plant them out next spring.
Lavender plant is a hardy plant but winter winds can damage the branches and foliage. The dry, cold winds wick moisture from the lavender's evergreen leaves, which causes burning or foliage death.

Leave them till the Spring-they might need potting on in the meantime-in a cold greenhouse should be fine.
Will do ,thanks
as said above as the cold killed all my young plants off during that cold spell, including my Rosemarie.
i purchased the lavender plants that were on offer, unfortunately a majority of them died, yet i dont know what i did wrong
My guess would be over-watered and/or over potted.
