What do I think? I think "why?". A lot of hard work for what? Something that is neither one thing nor the other. And will they offer choice as to which variety of tomato you buy grafted on to your choice of potato? I think not.
I have the same sort of uneasy feeling about it as I had when I saw that hamburger made in a petri dish.

I can think of better uses for a grafter's skill
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I have a book from the 1930's where there are instructions for doing this...........as a gimmick.
