    GWWU, what are the arguments against, if you research the planting well?

    Kate, this sounds like some dunces who didn't know about ivy. There is a popular, ubiquitous myth that ivy is harmful to trees etc. Hope that idea is being dispelled now. GG does need to be done after careful research and with care. It also is not really about planting, so much as ongoing care for the plants. So many plants and seeds just die as GGs don't understand that you have to regular water at least until a plant / seed is well established. It seems like such a waste.
