I have recently potted up some scabious plants, having received them as plug plants from an online nursery. Could anyone tell me whether they should be kept in the greenhouse over the winter, or planted in the garden? Thanks.

If they are only small plants I would tend to keep them in a sheltered spot till after the winter.

I would agree, anything recently bought as a plug will never have been outside and and now is not the time to put it out there

But once they have got through their first winter they will be fine outside - they're pretty hardy
