  • I have a picture here, taken in my mums garden. I would like to share it so that someone could identify it for her. Its very unusual and getting eaten alive by ladybirds. It has grown amongst her vegetables...
  • Can someone please tell me if this is possible? Or could you post on my behalf?
  • Hi Wendy, suspect that the people behind the website will spot your question and answer it, I'm not sure how these things are done, I'm afraid!

And as for hail, yes several late hail storms in the summer in Hampshire where I live, and fascinating damage too! Me? I'm still waiting for summer!!
  • Reply to WendyF: sorry, but there isn't the facility to upload images within our blog comments. It is possible to upload images to our Facebook page, though, so do feel free: http://www.facebook.com/bbcgardenersworld Thanks!
  • It's just my hanging basket plants that have scorched. I thought it was because they are on a south-facing wall but it could be the rain I guess. Anyway, the baskets now look really tatty, so annoying!
  • Leaf scorch on my young amalanchier ballerina tree - any thoughts? south facing exposed container grown and watered daily.
