Love your pumkins Stacey, a friend who left today brought one with a bat carving in it and the other was the grim reaper with an owl sat on the branch of a tree.
Blairs my toddler won't like the scary ones so there are two cartoon ones for her ..... Pumpkins can be anything you want that's why they are great.... Post pics ..... And don't forget their innards are yummy!!!
I still need to make the smile a bit more firendly. We have already tried to make pumpkin muffins (ok but needs cinnamon to give it taste) and will try pumpkin bread tomorrow.
Cool blairs.... I like him although is he too welcoming to hoards of kids looking for a sugar rush lmao.... Fairy my tools are as follows ..... A spoon to scoop a sharp carving knife to cut the top off a scapel for curved lines and a small serrated knife to cut.... My mum brought me a proper pumpkin tool kit from the us a few years ago I just don't get on with it.....

Very good. My son (4) wanted our pumpkin to have a happy face, so ours has a big smile and is not at all spooky.

This may sound like a daft question but what kind of knife do you use for carving? Or do you use various ones depending on the pattern?
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
