I found a nice fat seedpod on my Yolande tulip which had got missed when I cut them back. Is there any point in trying to get a flowering bulb from seed? Any special needs?
If you enjoy growing things from seed have a go. It won't be Yolande but it could be nice. Only the species tulips reproduce to what you started off with.

Patience, lots of patience! You could be waiting 2-5 years for flower. But surely, it's worth a go, what's the worst that could happy.
Any with any other seeds, keep moist but not soggy.
Follow the advice given for sowing Alliums. It works for any bulb.
