  can a cutting be taken from a gleditsia triacanthos 'honey locust' tree the sunbust one ?

  I have recently moved house and have a plant/weed that I can't identify and wondered if anyone could help me. It has large dark green shovel shaped leaves and grows a little like a hosta.
  Any ideas.

  Can anybody tell me the name (if there is such a thing) of a fruit bearing cherry tree which has pink blossom?

  I have a magnolia tree that I brought last year. I planted it in the front garden but since planting it, nothing has happened, no buds have appeared and it just looks like a bunch of twigs.  Im wondering if the local wildlife has killed it.  any ideas please
