Phormium sundowner

Some of the new leaves on my phormium are green / yellow instead of bronze / red. Should i remove these or is there a treatment / reason why this is happening? Thanks.

Quite common with phormiums MrsG. The leaves gradually change to the same colour as the rest. I've got quite a few yellow/green varieties and the new leaves start off green and then gradually get the variegation.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Thanks Fairy, I had no idea and would probably have cut them off or resigned myself to a Yellow/green variety (which I'd also like).
