Black Spot

Once again most of my roses were infected with black spot it was bad this year long stems stripped of their leaves,is there anything I could to make next year better,

Do you usually spray them with a commercial black spot spray or do you prefer not to use chemicals?
Make sure you gather up all the fallen rose leaves and either burn them or bag them up and otherwise dispose of them. That will help guard against the reinfection of the rose bushes next year.
