Oh, that was a lovely day in Dorset. I was so impressed with the way the council had managed the verges and roundabouts in the county and the lovely thatched cottages and then these two lovely gardens. Bennetts Water Gardens were so beautiful and the Abbotsbury Subtropical too. I will post some of my pictures.
Chicky, I looked on the site you recommended and the flowers are too small for Liisu. Will check Polish Spirit out tomorrow. My plant has lots of buds on ready to burst open. It is very floriferous.

I think Polish Spirit may have been named in honour of all the Polsh airmen who served in the RAF in WW2
However Marion if your plant is not covered in masses of smallish purple flowers it may not be PS, but something else.
And of course there is also General Sikorski.
Have a couple of those too, waterbutts - Group 2 but another 'good doer'
P.S Marion, what did you think of your visits to Abbotsbury and the Water Garden (was it Bennett's)?

Those were from Bennetts water gardens
Some from Abbotsbury subtropical gardens
Thank you so much for the memories of these 2 beautiful gardens in Dorset. Have you seen the Italianate garden at Mapperton, near Beaminster?
Not yet, but will mention it to the organisers of the trips I go on! Thank you.
You will love it, and great cake too.
