I have what appears to be small areas of white fungus on my cucumber leaves. What is this please and is it harmful?

It sounds like mildew Susan. Is there any way you could send us a photo?
I am away at the moment so I can't, if it is mildew is tblued use to ventilation in the greenhouse or too much watering
That should have said is it due to ventilation or over watering if it is mildew
Ventilation mostly.
