Has anyone else noticed an infestation of earwigs in their plums? I didn't plant this tree (Victoria) which is in a dank, dark corner: Anything I can do?
Hello Shirley6
The earwigs are just taking advantage of the little bite marks and nibbled holes made by other things such as birds and wasps.
Not much you can do now that the damage has been done to the fruit but you can still eat the plums. Just cut the bad bits off.
