what is best to grow in a terracotta pot?

    Something that likes dryish soil. Terracotta dries out much more quickly than plastic.

  • I would also suggest that you mix in some water retaining crystals to help it from drying out.If it is in a nice sunny possition maybe a lavender would be ok with some trailer with it.
