Flowering almondii
I have a clematis almondii which has suddenly come into flower in September.
I live in the SW. It is draped (in a rampant fashion) over a struggling pear tree. Surely this is a spring flowering plant. I have a clerodendron next to it, also coming into flower.
Has anyone else experienced this?

There's a lot of 2nd flowering going on in my garden, Not Clem armandii though, Wish it would, it was all browned off in spring and didn't flower then. Now has some new growth si I thought it might have flowered.
It's on a warning. If it goes right up the conifer and dies back to brown again- it's through the shredder
