Hi All,
Just wondered if anyone has a cure for saw fly, it has take my lovelt goosberry and blacurrant bush. Is ther anything I can do to prevent it next year I got no crop at all this year.

Cut the bush like a bowl so almost cut all the branches in the middle so that air can circulate... Is the only things have if you check out the how to section there is a piece on pruning gooseberries. I had this problem a few years ago and started to prune mine like this and since touch wood no problems....
Try provado veg and fruit insecticide. Spray at the moment you first see the defoliation.
