Violet. Did it have perfume? I have the native violet that opos up in different places in the garden and I have five different violet odorata which spreads abit but as its surrounded by other plants doesn't get the chance to go mad.
Right I have gone over the bits today that I do not want with a Dutch hoe - but lots of roots left- so be interesting to see if they come up again. Wide and plentiful root system underneath the plants.

I love my Dutch hoe, so easy to slide it though the soil cutting through the roots of weeds, just keep it clean and sharp.
