  Hi everyone. Hope you can help with my lawn query. I have a mulching lawn mower which obviously puts the fine cuttings back onto the lawn. The mower also has a scarifier attachment which does not collect the waste. Would it be beneficial to the lawn to scarify it then mulch the waste back into the lawn. I don't fancy picking up 3 acres of scarified remnants

  My lawns have turned slightly brown and full off moss.
  
  Am I okay to scarify this late.
  
  Also does it need hollow tinning.
