i have built a 12 inch bed on top of poor soil. my problem is. do i buy top soil in to top up . do i need to do anything to the clayey soil below.all new to me .i,m o,k .for cow muck. all help welcome. wrinkly1
What are you planning to plant in the new bed? Plenty plants would be happy for you to top it up with top soil and cow muck. Prize carrots might come out a bit bent.
