    Bit hard to seee but they look like Tulbaghia to me.

  • Thanks nutcutlet.  I note your comment about m.liriiope having tighter flowers and these are much more open than my muscari.  They are also hardy so that should rule out any agapanthus ideas. Hello Berghill, th epicture I saw of tulbaghia looked as if all the florets came from one level, like alliums, mine have a definite spike with a fuller shape than addict's suggested cammassia has.  I appreciate everyone's interest.

    Do the leaves smell of Onions? Looking again the flowers do look like Allium flowers.

    This beauty is called Prospero autumnale, it's synonym is Scilla autumnalis.

    Pic was taken in June Flowerchild. it could be a scilla of some sort though.
