Could anyone let me know the correct height to place my latest bug hotel. I believe it should be on a south facing wall is this true Thanks

John, there is an article about bug hotels somewhere on the GW site.The hotel needs to be at least part-shaded, so on a south facing wall it is possible your guests would fry. I would imagine you don't want that.

I read about placing it east facing, so the bugs can get warmed up in the morning sun.

This isn't the one I meant but it might help as well, the hotel must be in a sheltered spot (but not hidden).
