Can always use the surplus Diddy.

I make sauces from tomatoes, chillies and peppers and freeze them also soups.Vegetables if not eaten, frozen or made into chutnies are given to neighbours who return the favour when they have excesses of something I,ve not grown.

I hope that you're keeping any garlic oil you make in the fridge and  are using it up within a week.

Please tell me you're not making and storing your own garlic oil outside the fridge or for any longer than a week.  It is well known to carry the risk of developing botulinum toxicity which can make you very ill or even kill.

It can only be produced safely by commercial set ups under specific conditions .  If you have any doubts just Google 'garlic oil and botulism'.
