  I had plastic pond, for a 15 yrs, noticed a hole, then I put a pond liner
  on top ,and place lots of seaweeds, this year my water lilies are huge and
  leaves are very large and dark green,they happily tossing their leaves
  and petals.
  
  I do not have a fountain, water lilies do not like a fountain.
