In Cornwall the moon gardening guru is John Harris and features on the Sunday BBC Radio Cornwall garden line. Here is a link to a website about his methods.
Now I know why I don't see many people on the site of my new allotment - they're all gardening by the moon! Interesting idea though, and I remember my grandfather (a professional gardener) talking about this, I'll give it a go.

I have got lots of Brussel Sprout Stalks, in my allotment in Manchester, I am just wondering what to do with them ?
Does anyone Know?
Do they continuosly produce sprouts, year after year, i have heared you cut the leaves off to promote more growth ?
Or do they want removing and perhaps composting, also are the salks Edible, cant find any recipes.
