Japanese anemones
in Plants
I have two lovely japanese anemones but am wondering if I should remove old flower heads and stalks. These look nice left on but if it would encourage more flowers then I would cut them off.

I have been dead heading mine but they have suddenly stopped flowering.
Mine haven't even started yet
I usually compromise and deadhead some but also leave some flower heads on! Maybe that's the answer.
Oh dear, Chicky I hope they start soon! You'll have some nice colour well into autumn then.
Mine was planted in June and no flowers yet but there are buds. My farther leaves his but I have noticed he only gets the one flush of flowers with this method, a waste I think!! I will def leave the last few flowers when I get them hoping for some self down gems
