Help! Crows feasting on my apples

  • So far, so good...shhh!

  • I spoke too soon  image  I think they must come very early in the morning, cause I haven't seen them since that first day.  The CDs obviously haven't put them off.

  • Waterbutts was close to the solution for crows. You need to shoot a crow and hang it in the apple tree so they can see it. They will avoid your tree like the plague. You need to do this each spring as the offspring need to be trained every year. True story; it works!

    Apart from the advice being 6 years too late I should also point out that shooting birds for domestic scale crop protection is illegal. :#
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
