Well done waterbutts. Wikipedia says it bites or stab using proboscis. And yes cockroaches have antennae.
We had a cockroach hitch a lift from Australia in a suitcase. A week later it ran up other halfs leg in the shower. He squealed like a girl. Thankfully we caught it, and environmental health Identified it as a male, so no eggs.
Just found a French website telling children not to try and catch these as they will give you a nasty bite. They eat small fish and other stuff. They can fly well.
