Some really good ideas for a problem I have had for the 3 years have owned the animal. I am going to consult my vet before making changes to the dogs diet. But, something has to be done for short and long term green patchless grass. As currently my garden is an eye sore with stand out urine ruining my lush garden
You have nailed that NorthernLass2. It's not the sex of the dog, it's the way the dog relieves itself i.e. little dribbles here and there as opposed to one long stream. For some reason my Labrador has never adopted the method of leg cocking and dribbling, he has always crouched and blasted away until he's empty! I put it down to him been castrated very early and not adopting male traits (poor bugger). He ruined my lawn but with the method you advise I got it back to what it was.
He now has an out of the way corner, which I gravelled, where he's been trained to go. Regular sprinkling with Zoflora keeps it pleasant.
I've been weeing for last 5 years on my grass this is my own study nd still on going I've got 1 part of 10th that is lush green most of it look light green having a leek on Ur grass is good for it. I'll sent pic proof but that is progress atm u don't need seeds or owt takes time
