There is a gorgeous and unusual magnolia tree growing close to my home called Magnolia Delavayi. It is currently dropping green cone 'fruit'. Can I grow a tree from one of these cones?
that's how it happens in nature Ani. Give it a try. If you can get enough I'd sow some to leave outside over winter, some indoors and keep some to sow in spring.
