my mountain ash has plenty of berries but they always stay green and never turn red as i have seen all the other trees do anyone know what is going wrong??

Do they also disappear? I think our little feathered friends are eating them before they ripen. Pigeons at a guess.
mine rarely get ripe either but I blame the blackbirds
