Swan Anemones!

.

Final question before we go our separate ways!

Has anyone successfully divided and propagated any of the Swan anemones, either Wild, Dreaming or frilly knickers?
I have tried and failed with all three, and on two occasions have lost the mother plant as well!
Also with me they grow and prosper better when planted in the garden, they have a death wish plants in pots or tubs!

Also it was nice knowing you all, best wishes!

Can't help with your Swans.  They didn't like my Belgian garden and I haven't seen any here.

@Braidman Probably not much help as I only have the J anemone "White Swan " - not as rampant as some but have divided successfully to make new plants.
I should add that I only grow it in a border - not in a container.
    Good luck with yours  :)

Not much help here either, sorry.  I have Elfin Swan in a border and it does really well - so pretty, non-invasive and a long flowering period.  I have just divided it for the first time recently, so fingers crossed!  I had Wild Swan in a previous garden but never tried to divide it as it always struggled a bit in the drier soil.   I wasn't keen on the look of the frilly knickers one and dug it up for a plant sale.
