Your friendships have meant a lot to me and I want to thank you all for the kindness, help and support you have given me over the years. Its all rather sad isn't it? I'm sorry @Biglad hasn't been around. He presumably will have got the email advising him about the forum closing. Who knows.

Popped out to Sainsbugs to get a few bits. Bus was 20mins late coming home. It was rather breezy and I got a bit chilly waiting for it. Wish I hadn't gone now. Will snuggle on the sofa this afternoon. Shame about @Biglad hopefully he'll peek in during the next week and see we've travelled through the tunnel to GC. I'll definitely keep in touch with you too Hazel, can't lose my pal. And all my other friends we'll see each other on GC.
I went down into town today @star gaze lily - I wanted some perfume as I had run out. I went looking for my favourite perfume shop only to discover it has gone. I was a bit miffed they hadn't bothered to let me know as I do have a loyalty card for them. Anyway, I found another and got my perfume there. I also signed up for their loyalty card so I felt happier. The re-development of the town centre is coming on apace although it still looks like a bombsite. I think this is probably why my perfume shop has closed.
