Geum Totally Tangerine and G. Bell Bank as pond plants?

Wondering if anyone has tried these two as pond plants or marginals. It was interesting to hear garden writer Val Bourne recently note that the Rivale group are from water meadows and Bell Bank does well in that setting. I would like to give them both a go in my window box pond this summer... Thoughts welcome. Thanks

I've grown rivale in the margins of my pond and it did fantastically well but the other more refined geums have always been planted on the dryer side of the liner. I haven't grown bell bank but similar varieties have done well with occasional floodings (the pond is rainwater fed from the garage roof, so regularly overfill during the winter). If you do try it I would perhaps have the crown way above the water level and just let the roots reach down to the water.

Thanks. I was thinking to plant it very shallow and see how it does. TT has a long flowering season, so I might go for that (one parent Rivale).
