Is this a weed? Hoping it might be a Trollus I planted in the autumn but can't quite remember where!

I knew I've planted a small sage bush in the garden - somewhere. I found it the other day. I hope you're lucky too 😊

Looks like a buttercup to me.

That's what I'd said but then I wondered if the trollus might be related so I deleted just in case.

Trollius species are related to buttercups

I might do that ladybird. It had morphed into 3 plants and was a bu**er to dig up!

I thought Trollius leaves were deeper cut and smoother and shinier than buttercups.
