Old bulbs from under newly laid turf...

Thoughts please on how to 'remove' old bulbs from under newly laid turf...

    Just keep mowing them when yiu mow the lawn. They’ll die off after a while because they need green leaves to photosynthesise in order to grow.

    What Dove said, and don't let them flower (although it sounds like you would not want them to anyway), as they might seed themselves.

    Thanks for the reply both... I think we will the keep lawn cut and reduce the photosynthesise to the plant leaves. We will try and dig up or treat the bulbs in the soil borders with a Glyphosate solution. Incidentally the broad leaved bulb plant in the lawn is lords-and-ladies (Arum maculatum) also commonly known as cuckoo pint?

    Regular repeated mowing will deal with Cuckoo Pint. The plants appear in early spring and the leaves die down before summer arrives anyway.

    Ok, thanks once again. Will mow again as soon as dry enough!
