All time great threads to check before closing time

Can anyone recommend any really great threads  that stick in the mind (not too long) that would be worth reading before this forum closes?

My mind has gone a bit blank/overcome with emotions, so can't think, but if anyone has any ideas, that would be great.

Really really really long but gallery of shame was great fun - especially the first one
    In London. Keen but lazy.

The gallery of shame was fun but my favourites are the Garden Galleries. Love the photos of everyone's gardens.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

It is so sad. The least bad thing would have been to have enabled this archive to be preserved. I think I arrived too late to the forum to be here during the glory days, but I can feel what alot of fun and sense of community and friendship was fostered here and that can never be suppressed completely by bots with no humanity.  I will carry a bit of it with me too...

    Marlorena's Rose threads were gorgeous.
And I was enjoying the Gardener Suze's new OAP Garden one, too.

Not checked it out fully, but if you want to save a particular thread it looks like you can do so here on the archive site. I quickly did a test on a "the potting shed" page and it seemed to load okay (if a little slow).
Yorkshire, ex Italy and North East coast. Growing too old for it!

Yes it seems to work. I've just archived the whole of @MikeOxgreen's compost thread. The only drawback I could see was that it opens a new window every time you jump pages, so you have keep clearing up behind you. I wonder how long it archives them for?

    But thankyou @diggersjo
