I've also cancelled my GW magazine subscription and donated it to GC in appreciation of their warm welcome and well maintained site. Just a small gesture but I don't want to finance Immediate Media any more for a magazine full of ads and recycled features and articles.
@Pintail, very well said. 👍 Like you, I lurked for a while and then joined up because a thread was started about best performing plant of the summer and I wanted to give a shout out for my lobelia Africa Shine, which were a revelation of fabulousness to me. ❤️ And, after that ... I found myself staying and visiting daily. 🙂
GC is good but they do not stand for any clicky gatherings. The mods on there will easily and quickly step in when needed.and are quick to completely ban when needed. So be warned
Have joined but this is another forum and not GW so we have to move with it or not. I thank the admin at GC for such a robust welcome...just need to get my head around a different forum
