Camellia pest

Hi, can anyone tell me what this is in my camellia bud please? The edges are a little brown on a few of the buds. Is this the cause or is that something else? Thanks in advance!

  • I’ve just gone outside to disturb it a bit and it’s gone! Hopefully it doesn’t return with friends!
