CAMELLIA

I BOUGHT MY HOUSE IN 2021.The camelia is a very mature plant a d been here since the previous owner for some years. The  use stands 4M high . Since last year some of the leaves have started to turn brown.
Is this a sign of Bush getting too dry in summer , disease or insufficient nutrients?

Evergreens lose their leaves too.  Sometimes a few of mine cling on and go brown.  Just tidy them away.  INtense sunlight will also bronze them up a bit.
